Yes, in most countries. Send USDT or USDC to your Pyypl deposit address, and it's converted to US dollars in your balance.
To add money with stablecoins, follow these steps:
- On the home screen, tap Top-up, then Stablecoins.
- Choose the coin, USDC or USDT, then the network.
- Confirm that you'll send only this coin on this network.
- Copy the deposit address, or scan the QR code.
- Send the money from your wallet or exchange, using the same coin and network.
The app shows the smallest and largest amount you can send, and an estimate of how much will reach your balance. There's a fee for each top-up, shown before you confirm. See What fees does Pyypl charge, and what are my limits?
Which coins and networks you can use
- USDC: Solana, Ethereum or Arbitrum One
- USDT: Tron, Solana or Ethereum
Send only the coin and network you chose, and follow the warning in the app before you send. If you use another coin or network, the money may be lost permanently, as blockchain transactions can't be reversed.
If you don't see Stablecoins
Stablecoin top-up isn't available in every country. If you don't see Stablecoins under Top-up, it isn't available where you live. You can add money with a Visa debit card instead.
Can I send stablecoins out?
Stablecoins are converted to US dollars when they arrive, so you can't send them out as stablecoins. You can spend your balance with your virtual card.
