To see your fees, tap your profile picture at the top left, scroll down and tap Fees. The app also shows the fee for each transaction before you confirm.
Opening an account is free, and there's no account maintenance or inactivity fee. Fees can depend on your country, so check your own Fees page.
Fees
- Add money with stablecoins: 1%
- Add money with a Visa debit card: USD 0.50 + 3.5%
- Virtual card, first issue: USD 5
- Block or freeze your card: Free
- Declined card payment: USD 1
- Replacement card: USD 10
- Replacement card when yours has expired or expires within 30 days: Free
- Card payment, international or local: 5%
- Send to another Pyypl user: 1%
- Send money abroad: USD 5 per transfer
- Buy a gift card: 5%
How fees are taken
- Fees are taken from your balance when the transaction is made.
- Fees aren't refunded. A top-up that fails doesn't take a fee.
- When you pay in another currency, the app shows the exchange rate.
If a fee still looks wrong, contact us.
Your limits
Your Total Limit shows on the home screen, and your Wallet Limit in your profile. To raise your limits, we may ask how you use your account. See Why am I being asked to verify again?
