You can send money abroad, send it to another Pyypl user, or spend it with your virtual card. There's no physical card, so you can't take out cash at an ATM.
Send money abroad
You send US dollars, and the person receives their local currency. To send money abroad, follow these steps:
- On the home screen, tap Send Money, then Send Internationally.
- Choose the country.
- Enter the amount you want to send, in US dollars.
- Under Mode, choose how the money reaches the person, for example Bank.
- Enter the person's details.
- Check the details, then confirm and send.
Before you send, the app shows what the person receives and the exchange rate. The app shows only the countries you can send to.
Send money to another Pyypl user
To send money to another Pyypl user, follow these steps:
- On the home screen, tap Send Money, then Send to Pyypl User.
- Search for the person by name or mobile number, then choose them.
- Enter the amount, then tap send.
Spend with your card
You can pay online, in apps, or in shops through Apple Pay or Google Pay. See Where can I use my card, and why won't a site accept it?
There's a fee for sending money, shown before you confirm. See What fees does Pyypl charge, and what are my limits?
Stablecoins you add are converted to US dollars, so you can't send them out as stablecoins. If your account is blocked or closed, see How do I get my money from a blocked or closed account?
Still need help? Chat with us in the app. The chat works even if you can't log in: on the login screen, tap ? to open the Help Centre, then tap the chat bubble. You can also use the chat on pyypl.com, email care@pyypl.com or use the web form at pyypl.com/contact. We work on weekdays during working hours, so messages sent at the weekend may take longer to answer.
