You can add money with a Visa debit card or, in most countries, with stablecoins (USDT or USDC). On the home screen, tap Top-up to see the methods available to you.
Add money with a debit card
To add money with a debit card, follow these steps:
- On the home screen, tap Top-up, then Debit Card.
- Enter the amount you want to add, in US dollars.
- Enter your card number, expiry date (MM/YY) and CVV, then tap Top-up.
Only Visa debit cards are accepted, and cards issued in some countries can't be used. If your top-up fails, see My top-up failed.
Add money with stablecoins
You can also add money by sending USDT or USDC to your Pyypl deposit address. For the steps, see Can I add money with stablecoins (USDT or USDC)?
If you don't see a method
If you don't see Stablecoins under Top-up, it isn't available where you live. Ways to add money differ by country and can change.
There's a fee for each top-up, shown before you confirm. See What fees does Pyypl charge, and what are my limits?
Money from another Pyypl user
Another Pyypl user can send money to your balance. They tap Send Money, then Send to Pyypl User, in their app, and enter your mobile number, which must be the one registered to your Pyypl account. For your limits, see What fees does Pyypl charge, and what are my limits?
Bank transfers
Your account doesn't have an account number or IBAN, so you can't receive a bank transfer into it.
